About Sparky
Please say hello to SPARKY of the Summer Litter, six adorable, large-breed puppies born on or about 19 September 2021.
Dad is a Mastiff x Ridgeback and Mum is a Shar Pei x Red Cattle Dog. With genes like that, it's no surprise that Sparky weighs 20 kgs (as at 20 December).
Fortunately, Sparky has a very placid and sweet temperament and a bearing that one can only describe as "regal". And, yes, if you think he has a Ridgeback head, you're right!
Gentle and affectionate, he loves everyone - probably even cats, though he hasn't met one yet. Prior to coming into care, he lived in a loving home and has been well socialised. Put simply, he's a delight to have around and would make an excellent companion or family dog.
Sparky's adoption fee is $550 and he is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Preference will be given to applicants who have large breed experience and can offer Sparky the training, socialisation and care he needs to reach his full potential. He is not suited to full-time workers. Secure fencing is essential.
Applicants must be willing to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet him.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
