Sandy

What can we say about Sandy? She's a goofball, through and through. A young 11 months she is at the perfect age for lots of learning, adventures, and life experiences without the hassle of young puppy training. Sandy has an innate ability to give you full puppy-dog eyes that would melt even the hardest of hearts. She'll fall all over you to show her affection and end up at your feet inverted seeking a belly rub. She's the biggest of smooches and you're bound to be pulled into the vortex of cuddles and puppy loves should you meet her.

Sandy went into foster care with little to no in-house experience and bar one overnight accident virtually toilet trained herself in two days in the company of her foster buddy and some routine. Bonus!

Sandy has just started learning about collars, harnesses, leads, and walks and does her best to heel with some guidance and plenty of rewards. Sandy loves to have a sniff and follow her nose, but is not the sort of dog that will dislocate your arm from your shoulder on a walk.

Given Sandy has little in-house experience, she needs someone who can spend the time with her and show her the boundaries of a normal household. She has responded well to her introductory lessons in household manners while in foster and has the intelligence to fit in well just about anywhere, including singles, couples and families who are happy to continue her training. School aged children would be preferable as Sandy can sometimes get a little zoomy in the backyard.

Overall, Sandy can be a fantastic addition to your household and would love to spend the holidays with a new loving family.
