About Gypsy
Gypsy is a sweet very good natured lightweight medium sized dog. She was left at a country pound and wasnt microchipped so we have no way of knowing her age or breed
Our guess is that she is between 4 and 5 years of age. She not a youngster but still has a load of energy . Her breed is also a guess but she is a medium size , light weight slight build , weighing around 15 kilos and her colouring suggests Husky so we are going with Husky x kelpie with maybe a small dog in the mix somewhere
Whatever it is she is a sweet very friendly dog with no bad habits. She doesnt bark , doesnt jump fences , gets on with every dog and person that she meets. Is quiet and obedient and absolutely no trouble to have in foster care. We do think she may chase cats so a home without them is necessary
Gypsy would suit a lot of homes looking for a companion , walking buddy , pal for another dog already in the home. Our preference is for Gypsy to go to a home with another friendly dog as she gets on so well with all dogs .If there are no dogs in the family then we would like her to go to a home where she isnt left on her own a lot of the time, so an active retired couple would be a good fit or someone working from home
She does show interest in working livestock and wants to chase them but if she cant see them she settles very quickly, Therefore a home on acres is not best for her and no pocket pets or cats or chickens . We dont believe she would harm any but could tend to focus on them too much'
Gypsy has shown to be a little anxious around objects like brooms and and can scare easily. We believe she may have been mistreated at some time . We therefore have decided children in the family should be older than 8 as potentially a lot of activity with younger children may upset her. She loves to be inside and keeping you company but does need garden access

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
