Hi everyone, My names Petey and I’m from the little rascal’s litter.
I’ve had a hard start to life, I was dumped in the pound, but if I could talk and tell you my story before that happened, it wouldn’t be pretty. When arriving in care I was terrified, something’s still scare me a little but I’m trying so hard to be brave. I hid for about three weeks before my foster mum could even touch me, people where super scary, those hands coming at me where terrifying. Every day she came and just sat with me, every day she called my name in hopes I would come out to say hello, every day she would leave roast chicken and tuna, every day she hoped I would trust her. She didn’t give up on me, she waited until I was ready to trust. The day finally came. I trusted, I let her touch me, and oh boy it was amazing! Those gently hands giving me under the chin and bum scratches got my motor running. I still like to keep all four paws on the ground but if you call my name I come running and you better be ready for some smooches. I would prefer a quiet home without young children to gain my confidence some more, sometimes those little hands can be super scary, but I would absolutely LOVE a kitty friend who’s going to show me love and guide me to be more confident. I would love an understanding owner who will let me settle and trust that the good times are coming and guide me to being the very best kitty I can be. I’m not the biggest fan of dogs so would prefer a cat lovers home only pretty please.
I could go on and on all day, about how incredibly amazing I am but I think you should just meet me to see for yourself.

Adoption details

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
