Meet Junior (a.k.a. Buddy)!
He is the biggest loving goofball around! His favourite thing to do is pretend he is a lapdog.
Junior is an absolutely gorgeous boy. He is super friendly and still has a lot of puppy in him! Because of that, he would best suit a family without small children due to his size and goofy ways!
He can sit, shake and wait for his food. He still gets a little excited and wants to show his affection by pawing you.
Junior is great with other dogs, and friendly with cats who don’t want to scratch his face off! He is wonderful with kids, but again, he thinks he is a lapdog so best with older kids.
He would love a big yard to do zoomies and would love to have someone who would let him hang out with them all day long!
Junior had a rough start to life which has caused him to have permanent facial injuries. The left side of his face is droopy, he is blind in that eye and due to an untreated broken jaw, he can not open his mouth more than about an inch or 2. So no bones, but he loves to chew on toys and treats from the butcher. His Injuries will affect him long-term as his inability to open his mouth fully may impact his life at some stage. This does not impede his beautiful shining personality but may cause concern in the event of a blockage in his throat or mouth.
He is still spooked by men but once they show him they aren’t going to cause harm, he warms up to them super quick! This boy is a head turner and a smooch, making almost everyone he walks past stop and have a chat to him and give him lots of pats!
He can’t wait to meet the perfect human(s) and go to his forever home!
Medical notes
Junior is blind in one eye and due to an untreated broken jaw, he can not open his mouth more than about an inch or 2.
