About Maggie- One Year Old (on trial 24/1/22)
I can hear you already - "she's stunning!". Yes she is. But is she friendly too? You bet! Maggie is a little country girl from Moree with charm to match her looks.
She loves loves loves pats! She will greet you when you enter the room with the cutest little meows you’ve ever heard and will run up to you, flop to the floor and demand pats and a belly rub.
She also has a slight overbite (doesn’t affect her at all), so when she’s on her back looking up to you she sometimes looks like she’s smiling!
She knows what she wants though, and will give a little bite if you’re patting her wrong. It is a gentle nip though and has never scratched or broken skin – more like she’s redirecting you.
Her other favourite thing is to play. She is one of the quickest cats we’ve ever had and it’s an absolute joy to play with her. We attach a small fluffy toy to the end of a string attached to a stick and watch her zoom around for a good 20 minutes. This includes some flying leaps into a beanbag. She also loves to pounce on biscuit treats if you throw them for her.
Maggie also adores food and will never let you forget that it’s breakfast or dinner time. Wet food is her favourite, though she does love people food and we’d recommend keeping your cupboards closed to make sure she doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t!
She has not been keen on the other cats in the household. Not sure how she is with dogs.
A household with any children over 12 is preferred.
Maggie's adoption fee is $150, which includes her desexing, vaccinations, microchipping, worming and flea treatment while she is in care.
Maggie is currently residing in Waratah West and ready to bring her country charm to your home.
