Balin adores being the centre of attention. He wants to be as close as physically possible to you at all times, be that next to you on the couch or under your feet as you turn around.
He is looking for a home that will love him just as much as he is sure to love you. Fairly low maintenance, he would be content to follow you around all day with a leisurely walk for ample sniffing opportunities.

He would prefer not to be left alone for extended periods of time - although there is scope for improvement, it will take some time for him to adjust to new surroundings - his ideal family would have someone home more often than not, at least until he settles in!

Much like his namesake, Balin loves nothing more than good food, and by good food I mean all food.

As you might imagine can be enticed into training with treats and love alike. His favourite pastimes are playing fetch, and pulling the stuffing out of his toys.

You do need to watch your shoes about him if you leave him at home - but other than that he is an exceptional pup who will make his new people wonder how they ever lived without him.

Whilst Balin does not mind the company of other dogs – he firmly prefers the company of his humans and wants nothing more than to be as close to them as possible.
