Hello there, my name is Ember! I’m a bit of a slow burn but some love and patience will ignite the flames of a lifelong friendship. I am very brave and making great progress learning how to be a pet, but I can be a little bit shy at times. I have come such a long way in a short time with my foster parents and they think that I will make the best friend to someone who wants to spend lots of time with me, building my confidence and who lets me do things on my own terms. I am a very sweet girl who loves to play, explore and stretch out in bed. I have had no issues using my litter box and enjoy a pat and a scratch. I am also very talented on the scratching post. I find it a bit weird to be held but am getting used to it every day. My toxic trait is attempting to leap from your arms at a height, without warning and I adore toys that make noises, like crinkly paper and balls with bells in them. I can be timid at first but in a short time have gone from hiding at the back to pushing past my siblings and exploring new things first. I love to eat and will wait patiently for meal time, rubbing on your arms and legs. I can hold my own whilst wrestling with my brother and sister but overall, I have more of a laid back personality and play quite gently. I need an environment that I can feel safe in so may not be suited to a home with boisterous family members, fur or otherwise.
