About Bear ~ Staffy X Puppy(On trial 10/01/22)
Bear is an 8 week old black and white Staffy X puppy who is looking for his forever home.
This handsome young man is happy, confident and playful and thoroughly enjoys a good rumble with his siblings and cuddles with his foster carers. Bear is currently in care with his siblings, another small dog and young children and gets along well with everyone so he has had a great social start to life.
Bear would love a home where he is not left alone too much so he doesn’t get lonely and stressed. Ideally his owner would be home most of the time and he would love a friendly adult dog as a teacher and playmate. He will need to be welcomed as a member of the family, with access to indoors and a yard to run around in with secure fencing that is at least 6ft tall with no gaps. He will need regular walks for exercise and mental stimulation. As with most young pups, Bear will benefit from puppy training and will require his new family to commit to ongoing socialisation and training to ensure he grows into the best dog he can be. He is coming along well with his toilet training and already knows how to use the doggie door.
As Bear is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he is five months old.
PLEASE NOTE: Expressions of interest for Bear are being taken at this stage as he is not available for immediate adoption.
