About Tetley
This little poppet is a 12 week old purebred Chihuahua puppy. Tetley is a teeny tiny girl weighing around 1,100 grams.
She’s very well socialised, being fostered in our home alongside our six other small dogs and three cats.
Tetley has a loving, friendly and outgoing nature and has fitted into our home without a fuss. She adores being held and carried and never squirms to be put down.
She’s crate trained and easy to get along with in every way. There has never been any crying and screaming or sleepless nights.
Tetley is using pee pads a lot of the time, but of course at her age, toilet training is a work in progress.
She’s full of the joy of life, is very playful and loves the other dogs and the cats as well. Most ignored her at first but some are now enjoying her playful antics.
When I sit in the recliner, Tetley asks to be picked up, where she’ll happily sleep on my lap for as long as I’m sitting.
As tiny as Tetley is, don’t be fooled into thinking she’s a sedate toy - she’s a very normal puppy and will tug at your socks trying to pull them off as fast as you’re trying to put them on. She’s also learning that bare feet are not for biting!
Items on the floor are fair game and she’ll run off dragging things way bigger than herself.
Please tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Tetley ie. who is in your family, their work hours, where she will spend her time, company of other dogs etc.
Basically we’re looking for a very special home for a very special little girl.
Medical notes
Vet checked, a healthy little girl.
Adoption details
Tetley is located at Moree, NSW about a 7 hour drive from Sydney.
Commercial transportation options are almost non existent at the moment so you will need to be prepared to drive to Moree to collect her (16 klms from Moree, not in the township for those who are worried about COVID)
Tetley is ready to begin her life with her new family, so preference will be given to potential adopters who are ready to adopt now, not in 3 or 4 weeks time after you return from your holidays.
