About Marshall (on trial 25/12/2021)
This tiny little baby pea is Marshall, and he is the sweetest little muffin - sweeter than any pastry you could buy at a fine bakery! Marshall was brought into the Newcastle pound in a shopping basket, and after a few days of seducing everyone there with his adorable face and charming ways he came into care with DRN.
Marshall was probably separated from his mum a bit too young - and as such he quickly decided that his foster mum was his new mother. He loves being cuddled, and purrs and rubs up on her face like the tiny baby he is. Marshall will need a new family who can spend quite a bit of time with him, especially while he is still a baby.
Despite his tinyness and baby ways (we think he might have been the runt of his litter) he has the spirit of a mighty lion. He loves to play, and runs from one end of his foster home to the other, with his adorable little baby kitten waddle. Marshall loves other animals, and is often seen cuddled up to his foster brother labradoodle, or trying desperately to win the approval of his foster cat siblings. Because he missed out on some core socialisation when he was really young, it did take Marshall a few days to learn appropriate play with his foster kitten siblings, but he does great now.
Marshall is looking for a home with people who are home more often than not, maybe with some other pets, and if there are children they should know how to be gentle with tiny baby kittens. If you would like to adopt Marshall together with another kitten from DRN he would love that too!
Marshall is available to an indoor only home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast region so that he can be returned to a DRN vet for desexing when is approximately 4 months old. His adoption fee is $250 (or $450 as a pair) and includes the aforementioned desexing, microchipping, first vaccination and flea and worm treatment.
He is in care in Wallsend and is looking forward to meeting his new family! He will be available from the 23rd December, when he has had his first kitten vaccinations and been microchipped.
