With the courage and heart of a lion, Shubert is an example of an enduring spirit.

Shubert has faced many health challenges but he just keeps on going.

Shubert has had his knee replaced, suffered a stroke and shows signs of severe disc disease in his neck.

As a result of these challenges, Shubert requires ongoing medication to relieve pain and give him mobility.

Shubert thoroughly enjoys daily strolls in his pram. At home he loves to boss around his foster brother 20 times his size. Unaided he happily moves around the home on his own to be sure he is part of the action.

Because of Shubert's health challenges and possible future issues, we want a home for Shubert where his family will have access to a car to get Shubert to vets or physio as required. To be able to cover the cost of his medications (currently $190 p/mth).

Shubert needs a family that will show him love and patience and allow his youthful spirit to flourish and make every day he has as comfortable as possible.

Shubert will come with own his fancy pram!
