About Max
Meet Max!
Max is an almost 2 year old Male Kelpie x Coolie dog who is absolutely beautiful!
This sweet boy is full of energy. He loves to play and have all the pats in the world. He loves walks (and loves to pee on all of the trees and bushes) and even though he does pull on his lead to begin with, he does settle down after a while.
He has gotten along with some of the other dogs here at SMART HQ but it seems that cats are a little too much temptation and would like to chase.
Max does bark in the car but otherwise travels well.
This handsome boy has either had an injury or surgery done to his bottom right eyelid and there is a scar in the area which males his right eye a little smaller than his left. This hasn't seemed to bother him since being with us at the Sanctuary.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
