About Frankie
Hi I'm Frankie! I've been loving like living with my foster family and now that my vet work is done I'm ready to find my forever family.
I am a very good girl and sit, stay and go to bed on command. I also have good manners and wait paitently for my humans to put my bowl down and to be told that's it is ok for me to eat my food. I also never jump up on people although sometimes I do forget how big my but is and bump into people but I don't mean it.
I absolutely adore children of all sizes. I am very protective of my little human and if anyone tries to hurt her or is acting threatening I will growl and get in-between them to make sure she is safe. I love cuddling up to the little girl I'm staying with on her bed while she goes to sleep at night and I sometimes sleep on my foster mums bed with her but I'm also happy to sleep by myself in the laundry.
I am house trained and walk well on the lead. I am good at bath time and don't try to jump out or run away but I do make my foster mum pick me up to put me I her bath. I think I prefer the shower though I even hijacked the little girl I'm staying with's shower one night and had a wash with her!
I love going for walks with my people but I can be a little reactive to other dogs when we're out and about. My foster mum always takes a pouch of treats with us when we go for walks and uses them to distract me but sometimes I still need to be reminded to stay focused and keep walking. The pound I came from has advised I’m not good with dogs and from my time in foster care my foster mum agrees I’m best to stay away. She also says that my new home shouldn't have cats or pocket pets. Apparently I'm a little too interested in the cats in my foster home once I notice that they're in the room with us. I have been good though and haven't chased them, growled at them or tried to eat them yet but once I notice them I don't stop staring at them so it's probably better to be safe and keep them away from me.
I love spending time with my humans but I also like my alone time chilling out in the backyard. I play fetch and I like squeaky toys. I LOVE playing with water especially the hose and sprinklers. I really don't like thunder storms though and usually run and hide under my foster mums bed until it's over.
Do you think you have a place in your heart and your home for me? I promise I will give you all the love and cuddles you could possibly want.
