Cheeto is a fun-seeking ginger ninja in every sense. This active, highly-intelligent and playful boy has a keen sense of fun - and he adores play almost as much as food!

Cheeto arrived into our care in a litter of five kittens – so being social with other kitties comes naturally to him. Cheeto loves to be at the centre of whatever activity his siblings and other cats in care with him are doing. He’s all in, every time.

While Cheeto can be quite reserved with new people initially, after a few days he will let his guard down and start purring away when you pat him – if he can stay still long enough that is!

Cheeto is not overly fond of being picked up and cuddled however he will seek out another kitty to curl up and sleep with and be friends with – so he is the purr-fect companion for your cat or for a small, cat-friendly dog.

And if you are looking for a pair of kittens to adopt, Cheeto is friends with Harvey (also listed on Pet Rescue at www.petrescue.com.au/listings/881758). These two are hilarious together and match each other’s personality really well.

Cheeto is relentless in his chasing of the red laser light dot and he will gleefully run after bouncing ping pong balls on tiles or will hunt down toilet roll inners (a favourite toy!) and pat them around the room for hours.

Give this boy a cardboard box, a toy and another kitty/pet and you have endless playtime to watch and post on social media – it’s hilarious to watch and provides hours of entertainment.

Cheeto is not suited to being a first-time cat, so we are looking for a home that potentially has another pet as well humans for company for him. He suits a home with slightly older children who can understand that sometimes he needs to retreat to his own space for some alone time.
