Sumba

Sumba is a gorgeous young puppy who wants nothing more but to spend all of his time with his human. He is a loveable goof-ball and enjoys playing with his toys, chasing balls and chewing bones.
Sumba will need someone who is home more often than not, as he does suffer from a bit of separation anxiety. You will need to be willing to work with him on this as he does get a bit “sooky” if left alone for longer periods of time. He likes knowing that his human is nearby and doesn’t mind just chilling on his bed whilst someone is around.
One-on-one Sumba is chilled out and relaxed, he knows how to sit and is housetrained and sleeps inside all night with the occasional snoring. He walks well on the lead but does pull so will need someone strong and confident walking him.
When he meets new people and animals he forgets all of his manners and wants to run and jump all over them, he is like this with everyone new he meets and it is hard to get him to settle down, he will need someone who is willing to work with him on this also, as even though he is just super excited and wants to love and meet everyone, he does come across as a bit intimidating. He will need someone who will take him to basic obedience training as it would benefit him extremely.
Also, with being a Lab and a puppy, he will chew anything and everything. Anything he can get his big, goofy mouth on, he will destroy. He is a cheeky boy and knows when he has something he shouldn’t, he will spend the next half an hour running away from you while you try to get it off him, thinking it is the best game ever!
Due to how excited Sumba gets, he is not suited to families with younger children (under 10). He is also not suitable for homes with cats as he sees them as a fun game of chase.
Please only apply if you are genuinely willing to work with Sumba on his separation anxiety and his obedience. He is an amazing boy, who deserves only the best
