About Tux
TUX – (1yo Male)
Location: Cardinia Shire, Victoria
You may recall seeing Mr Tux looking for a foster carer towards the end of 2021.... well, guess what? Tux is looking for a new foster carer with a view to adoption. If you were interested in Tux first time round PLEASE read the criteria again as we have updated Tux's requirements now we know more about how this gorgeous boy ticks!
Because Tux is still young, he would benefit from being with a family that is prepared to put in the training to give Tux the structure and boundaries he needs. He should also be included in all aspects of family life. He is an incredibly affectionate young man who loves everybody and everything however, a home where he is the only boy is needed..this boy functions at 100 km/hr and in a nutshell has no off button.
Tux is able to be left outside during the day and loves to run around a large backyard. He loves to do all the usual goofball boxer things as well as ‘talking’ to you, playing fetch with sticks & balls. We are told that he also likes to tell the lawnmower off but will eventually
Plenty of exercise and stimulation is the way to go for Tux and you will be rewarded with unconditional love and boxer kisses...although he is a sweetheart he needs to learn some manners and is unable to read the signs when dogs tell him no!
We know we will be inundated with applications for Tux. Please be patient and note that we will contact you if you are shortlisted and fit our criteria.
If you think you are able to give Tux a loving new home, please complete an application today by following this link noting TUX in your application: https://brna.com.au/product/tux
Why fostering?
BRNA has the policy that all dogs need to be vet checked, microchipped, desexed and up-to-date with their vaccinations before they can be adopted. This all happens while in foster care (we pay the vet). When the vet work has been completed, the dog will be available for adoption.
Adoption process
If the dog is happy; the foster family are happy; we are happy and it’s a good match, we usually give our foster carers the first chance of adoption
