About Mia
Mia is a 9 year old Russian Blue who arrived to us after having lots of behaviour issues in her home, her previous owner has tried a number of things to help Mia however it came to the point where the best option was to allow Mia a new environment to see if we can help change things..... Mia arrived at her home as a kitten who quickly fell in love with the family dog, they became great friends... things changed for Mia when her owner went away and was left with a house sitter, she become extremely anxious about meeting new people and was never the confident cat that she once was. Mia has been on medication to assist however it really made no difference - whilst at the shelter Mia has shown us that she can be very affectionate, she is not one that likes to be picked up or fussed about, and is happy when everything is on her terms - she still likes to play with toys even though she is close to being a senior, we have done all medical tests for Mia and she is fit and healthy .... Mia has a lot of love to give but she really needs that perfect home - an experienced cat home, who understands independent cats, a home where she can feel safe, where it is quiet, not a lot that's going on, strictly indoors or the chance to go outside safely, no children no other indoor animals....
If you are interested in trying out Mia at your home we do require a commitment of 12 weeks as a trial - please call the office on 63889202 to make a time to meet her - adoption is via appointment only
