About Dave
Dave is a happy, confident, playful and sociable puppy who is looking for a loving new family to call his own.
He absolutely adores other dogs and is currently in foster carer with a dog that he plays with day in and day out.
Dave is interested in absolutely everyone and everything, he loves his chew toys the most as he is still teething. Squeaky toys and ropes are becoming a fast favourite. Dave will be easily trained as he already keen to listen and be a good boy for treats (he LOVES his treats)!!
This little cutie loves food and will be a large boy when he's grown up, due to his size we think he will be suited to a home with a large garden for him to run around in. He would love to share a home with another dog as he loves a dog cuddle after playtime and has already learned a lot from his foster sister and would benefit from been around a big dog to help him along the rest of his way.
When it comes to bedtime, Dave knows to sleep in his own bed and snores the night away, he almost sounds like an adult human male. He also likes to come into his human bed for a cuddle when he's allowed to (very soon he may not fit though lol).
His new ideal home will:
- an adult only home, or one with teenage kids (no small children)
- a home that will be committed to training and socialising this pup (puppy school and ongoing obedience training will be essential)
- one with LOTS of love and cuddles to give!!!
Dave's adoption fee includes all of his medical work (he has been desexed, had his first vaccination, microchipped, flea and worm treated), a 12kg bag of premium large breed puppy food and a spot in our 5 week puppy school course at the SCAR shelter.
He is ready to go into his new home today... so don't hesitate to apply as we are sure that this gorgeous boy will not be around for long!!

**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
Thank you!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
