About Doom
Please allow me to introduce you to our special, quirky boy, Doom. Nobody has told Doom that he is, in fact, 7 years old, not a silly puppy but Doom has chosen to live his life, packing the most fun possible into each and every day. Around the size of a Cocker Spaniel and sporting a stumpy tail, we are told that Doom is a Kelpie x Silky terrier but there is probably more in his background than just those 2 breeds. Although he loves a cuddle, Doom is anything but a lap dog. Zoom loves to play and be active and be involved in whatever his humans are doing. Aside from his humans, Doom’s absolute favourite thing is water. If there is a dish or a bowl or a puddle, Doom is playing in it! Although we haven’t seen it, Doom’s previous owner tells us that he is prone to escaping his yard if bored or home alone so a home where his humans are around the majority of the time would be ideal. Doom is ok with other dogs but thinks that cats are made for barking at, so a kitty free home is needed. Doom would love his new humans to be active and fun and want to involve him in whatever is going on. Doom is good with kids but probably too energetic and busy for under 5’s. Doom would benefit from some ongoing training but his love for treats and willingness to please means that this will be fun for everyone.
