About Bentley
Bentley
This cutie is looking for his forever home
Bentleys previous family made the very difficult decision to reach out to us to rehome him as they wanted him to receive the training and attention he deserves and they needed to focus on these things with their resident dog.
Bentley is good with other dogs however hes happy just sitting on the couch with his fur and human family. Bentley would suit a family with no dogs or a calm doggo of a similar size and nature as he can be a bit intimidated by high energy dogs. He is also in foster care with a cat, he has shown some interest in him and will follow him to have a sniff so he could definitely live harmoniously with a cat in the home.
Bentley loves to go for a walk and is great on the lead. He only needs a short walk to keep him active as he gets tired after 2km. Bentley also likes playing with toys especially soft ones! Sometimes they explode when he gets his paws on them!
Bentley is a little fussy with his food but after some reassurance from his foster mum he will eat his dinner like a good boy, he definitely prefers yummy wet food over dry.
Bentley is very gentle and calm so would suit a family with children, he doesn’t jump up much either only when he’s a little excited. Bentley is happy to sleep on your bed or is crate trained and will sleep the whole night through in his crate. He is also toilet trained and hasn’t had any accidents inside while in foster care. Bentley loves people and just wants lots of attention and cuddles. He’s a pretty lazy dude.
During the day Bentley is left alone for 8 hours but has the company of his foster sister. They spend most of the day in the laundry but can go in and out as they please, Bentley is still getting used to using a doggy door. If Bentleys new family has to go to work for long periods Bentley will need a sibling to keep him company so he doesn’t fret.
