This gentleman of a dog is looking for his forever home. He is has a charming character and has settled in with the help of his foster carers female dog.

Initially he was very shy of humans. Now he is so excited to see people he loves dancing up and down with his front legs with lots of tail wagging and even smiles when he gets a pat. Milo enjoys gentle encouragement and lots of pats and is improving every week. He even tries to get in your lap when he knows you, because despite his size he thinks he should be a lapdog.

Milo is gentle with food and does not snatch from hands. He is happy to nibble away at his meal and share with others. He is slowly learning to eat some different foods including dog biscuits, which he wasn't sure of to start. He has even started eating vegetables too!
Milo likes to play chase with his foster family's dog and steals her ball to hide it from her for fun. He has not quite mastered the art of fetch.

It is likely he will need the company of another dog due to his previous home living situation and his love for his foster carers dog shows that also. He also likes going for daily walks and is very gentle wanting reassurance that he is doing the right thing. He follows his foster Mum around the pool while she swims laps, however doesn't get in the pool.

Although he has not been firmly introduced to the cats of the house he has shown no interest in them through the door. Milo has not been introduced to young children, however at this stage will probably not be suitable, as he is still quite scared of sudden movements. It is likely he will settle into a gentle loyal family dog with time, as he has a very soft nature, however he needs time and patience to get there.

Milo is the most handsome gentleman you will ever meet and his character is sure to charm. If you have room in your heart for a very loyal dog Milo is the man!
