About Agapantha and Chumbi
*In foster care in Maroubra, Sydney*
Agapantha and Chumbi are beautiful White Shepherd/Coonhound mixes with a cheeky sense of humour and lots of youthful energy to share with their lucky new family!
These playful, happy girls love nothing more than a good chase around the park and a good snuggle on the couch whenever there's one on offer. Both dogs walk well on lead, adore the company of other dogs, and haven't completely ruled out living with a compatible cat :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Agapantha and Chumbi are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: Agapantha - I'm easygoing by nature and will be bursting with affection from the first minute! Chumbi - I'll take my time to get to know you, but once I trust you I'm all in!
We're very polite - we won't jump on you, and we don't really drool. We'll lick your face if you ask but we won't impose. Be patient with us, and we promise you'll fall in love!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: We count down the minutes to our daily walk, and adore big open spaces where we can run around and be free! (We currently spend lots of time at the rifle range at Malabar Headland.) But if you don't have easy access to a place like that, a secure backyard with enough room for us to stretch our legs would be fine too.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We love kids so much, and know not to jump up on them. Gentle children aged 5+ who have nice manners like us would be a great match!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We adore each other and we adore other dogs! Cats are a slightly different proposition, but we reckon we could be friends with the right one :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
