About Laney
IT IS SOOOO FLUFFY I WANNA DIE!
Hello there! My name is Laney, and I am approximately one year old
I had a little bit of a rough start to life being born on the streets. I am super special, not just because I am a beautiful black fluffy angel, but I am slightly cross eyed (nothing to worry about and I have been given the all clear!) - that just makes me more magical though don't you think?
I am happy and will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside and out! I get a little scared of loud noises and sharp movements, but once I realise you are my safe place I will always rely on you to protect me. I will purr for pats, hog all all the attention, and my foster mum says cuddles are pretty cool so I am giving them a go too!
I think I am best suited to a home with older children and maybe without dogs as I have never met one. I love other felines just like me, I will smooch them as much as I will smooch you!
Please take me home and make me one of the family!
Laney is also being fostered with her brother from another mother, Kane, who she adores. Adoption fees for long term bonded pairs are reduced to $180 (from single $100 adoption fees). You can read about Kane here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/882375

Medical notes
Important note: Laney has a condition known as Strabismus, commonly referred to as cross eyed, that is usually caused by an imbalance of extraocular (outside of the eye) muscle tone. Laney has congenital strabismus, meaning it was present at birth. This is not a disease, and these cats can live an otherwise normal life.
Medical Note: Laney was exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). Laney showed mild signs of illness, was treated, and recovered well. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop again over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect Laney and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination.
