About Raymond
🐾 Shy baby Ray 🐾
“H-h-hello I’m Raymond but can you please whisper when you’re around me? I’m a little bit of a shy boy (a big bit actually) and I’m super sensitive so I need people to go forward slowly with me. I’m the quiet one out of my brothers obviously, they’re all so confident and outgoing but I’ve always kind of blended into the background with their big personalities. I have been trying to get some confidence and get involved with everyone some more because the truth is that I really do want to belong, but I’ve just had a little bit of trouble fitting in.
I’m still a little cautious but with patience from my foster career I’m slowly coming out of my shell and learning to trust people more. My favourite thing to do is hide in the cat tunnel and then pounce on my brothers when they walk past, and if I’m honest, gentle play is what gets me feeling a little better. Spending time with everyone but going slowly. I’m pretty weary of my doggy sister Freya and my foster carers cats but if you have a home with other furry friends that are a little shy too, I think everything will work out pretty well.”
Raymond is a shy kitten that needs a home with other quiet animals, a slow paced life, and an older family. Ray isn’t suited to a home with kids under the age of 12 as he can sometimes be easily startled. Ray is best started off in a kitten pen or a spare room, so he isn’t overwhelmed by a large space. He is a sweet boy that needs some understanding.
