Possum ~ Mastiff X Puppy(On Trial 22/12/21)

Possum is a playful, 9 week old, Mastiff X puppy but has more the size and build of a much smaller dog. She is a happy, easy-going pup that loves nothing more than having her belly rubbed.

Possum loves to play with her foster brother and sister. She is super friendly and will always come straight away at the opportunity for a cuddle. She is a confident, outgoing and healthy puppy. Daily exercise outside the home to keep her both physically and mentally healthy and happy is vital to her wellbeing.

Possum is smart and will be easy to train as she just wants to please. She is not yet toilet trained but she will learn quickly as she gets older. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise and training.

Possum needs an owner who is home during the day and she would love a friendly, adult dog as a teacher and playmate. She would be too lonely if she was left on her own and she would be likely to get stressed. Possum is quite calm for a puppy and would be great with children but she is still an active, jumpy puppy who is best suited to children over 5 years of age. You need good fencing with no small gaps.

Possum needs to be welcome inside when people are home and to sleep inside at least until she is an adult.

As Possum is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she is five months old. We are also not conducting any out of area or interstate adoptions in accordance with current Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns.

Possum’s adoption fee is $700 and she is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated, and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
