Bouncy boy Hugo is now ready for his new home!

Hugo's dark, focused eyes and smouldering facial features will have you falling in love in no time.

An ideal home for Hugo would have him inside with his family, but with a yard for him to zoom around in. He could potentially live with an older female, sociable dog of similar size to show him the ropes.

No cat's or pocket pets please.

Hugo is a quick learner! He loves to please you. When he's in training mode, he's focused and ready to learn new skills and is enthusiastic in everything he does.

Hugo's favourite games are playing tiggy with his foster brother, using kongs and food puzzles, learning new skills through positive reinforcement and being a general goofball with the people he loves.

Hugo loves snuggling on the couch with you and walks very well on lead. He has picked up toilet training quickly and can sleep inside overnight with any hitches.

He is a chatty lad who barks when he is suddenly very happy and is very bouncy when he get's excited.

Because of the lack of structure in Hugo's past life he can become very excitable and jumpy. Hugo is responding very well with routine and repetition. Ongoing this will ensure he can be the best dog we know he can be and his new humans should be dedicated to training, and practicing all four paws on the floor. He would do best without young children in his new home.

It is recommended that Hugo is adopted by an adult family... Preferably one who has experience raising a cheeky puppy and/or working dog breed.

Hugo's adoption fee will also cover a 30 minute training session with our behaviour trainer at our shelter in Craigieburn.
