Meet the coolest dude on the block... they call him Fonzi but he is also known as 'The Fonz', 'Stop That' or 'Give My Shoe Back'!

Fonzi is an exuberant and boisterous teenager in an adult dog's boy! He loves people, he loves to play, he LOVES food and his favourite game EVER is tug of war and chasing a broom around!

This energetic boy is house trained and sleeps the whole night through (he tends to snore like an adult human man lol)! He is not a digger so if you are a garden enthusiast your garden will be safe.

This excitable lad has some basic training under his belt however ongoing obedience training will be essential in his new home to ensure that he learns all the doggy manners possible to make him the best behaved dog on the block. He LOVES his food so this makes training all the more fun if treats are involved!

Fonzi's ideal new home would be with adults only (or one with older kids who are dog savvy as he is very strong and excitable) and one where this ongoing training is a priority. He will spend hours on end snoring on the couch whilst dreaming of chasing tennis balls (with deep-sleep running action and all).

Someone who has had boisterous dog experience, who is dedicated to giving Fonzi guidance and management would be the ideal home for him.

Fonzi's adoption includes a 30min 1-on-1 training session with the SCAR Senior Animal Trainer.

**Application Process**

When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption centre in Craigieburn. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you.
