Hi, I'm Milo! I've found myself in the shelter looking for a brand new home that is experienced and equipped to deal with my needs. I'm your typical working breed dog; high energy, VERY driven and a quick learner. Us Kelpies are AWESOME dogs when provided with the mental and physical stimulation we need. If not, you'll have a mouthy, crazy and destructive pup on your hands! I've had a little bit of training in my last home but I definitely need ongoing training. I'm a great candidate for dog training classes, herding, agility and other dog sports. I'm not the kind of dog you can take for a short walk and leave in the yard, I want to do things WITH you!
I've been around other dogs before and would be happy living in a home with a stable role model dog that could put up with my puppy behaviours. I'm a bit too jumpy and wild for young kids, but older teens could be okay as long as they're on board with my training.
I'll need a large secure yard with high fences (I can jump impressively high!)
