Hi, my name is Mickey and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am an older gentleman who previously lived with another dog and a family which included teenagers. Being an older gent, I come with all the benefits of being calmer and more laid back (and better behaved!) than a puppy.

I have had quite a bit of training and follow lots of command. I also walk well on the lead and come back when I’m called. I’m used to being around dogs and have met lots of them when I’ve been out and about, so no problem there! My foster parents think I’m pretty much perfect and would make an ideal pet. In fact, I overheard my foster mum telling someone I was “a very kind, sweet and affectionate boy who loves attention”.

I am happy being outside when my foster parents are at work etc, but of course I’d much rather be inside with my family – but isn’t that normal!
