About Bandit
Introducing me - Bandit! I am a 5 month old, black and tan male kelpie puppy, looking for a very special home.
The first thing you need to know about me is that I was born with a congenital eye defect, I am not completely blind but my vision is quite impaired. But, I definitely don’t let that stop me being a typical active Kelpie boy! Other than being slow to negotiate stairs, needing time to familiarise myself in new places, being more accident prone and crashing into things a LOT, I am a regular, playful puppy.
I am a very active, bouncy, goofy guy, always on the go and looking for the next adventure. I am very calm in the car (nap time!), love going for walks, but really just enjoy hanging out with my foster family. I am a pretty confident and independent fella, can sometimes entertain myself, but I do also enjoy games with you and snuggles on the couch.
I am crate trained and sleep there happily all night. I have started on my basic manners like sit and wait, but need to continue to work on these and other skills, including to keep me safe.
I am looking for an active home where there is plenty going on to keep me entertained, and a family who will spend lots of time with me. Certain activities and homes with unfenced water will be too unsafe for me though. I would absolutely love to have a youngish doggy friend to play with, but also to help me negotiate the world and be my eyes. I don’t mind kids, but would be better with older kids who understand my needs. I love herding and chasing, so probably best if you don’t have cats, chickens etc.
If you think you can offer me the home I need, please get in touch!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
