Long John Silver is so named because he is a beautiful grey (silver) colour. This sweet boy would love to be part of a family so he has lots of people around to play with; he loves it when people play with him, especially with feathers, or games of ambush and chasey. He likes to sleep on your bed at night, snuggling up against your legs. He is very tolerant of being handled and even having his paws played with gently. He is a real smooch and wants to be a constant part of your daily life. When relaxing, he loves to be on your lap and have his chin rubbed.

Long John is toilet trained and keeps the litter area tidy (he doesn't flick it all over the room). He is a smart cookie and comes when called and will even follow basic commands!

Generally he is a relaxed cat, but some loud noises will startle him. He is untested with other pets. Because he is placid he could be good with kids who are old enough to understand when he's had enough cuddling.

Long John Silver would love a home with access to an outdoor enclosure or catio so he can enjoy a warm snooze, so if your home has one, or a safe enclosed yard, he would be rapt.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip (including transfer of ownership), and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply for your chosen cat, please complete the SAFE Bunbury Cat Adoption Enquiry Form. We will advise you if your chosen cat is still available and if so put you in touch with the cat’s carer. If you decide to meet your chosen cat we will send out the adoption paperwork by email. You will meet the cat and all being well take him or her on trial! All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts. We cannot accept cash.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home.
