About Narla
Narla is a very cheeky young girl who loves snuggles. At 4 months old she has a lot to learnt about the world and we want a family who will continue to teach her how to grow to be a good dog as she will grow to be A BIG DOG, being a Catahoula mix.
Narla is such a gorgeous puppy and anyone will be so lucky to have her, she is so loving and funny. She has quite the attitude when you don’t want to play with her, and she is sassy and adorable.
She sits, lays down, stays, stops and waits. All of your basics she has nailed!
She needs more socialising with other dogs and we want her to have as much positive exposure as possible in her new home. New dogs to meet constantly so she can be a social butterfly when she grows up.
She loves play fighting but can get a bit rough so continuing to teach her manners at this crucial age is important.
Narla can be a little shy of new people especially when they come into the house so again more socialisation is crucial in her new home. We want you to show her that the world is a safe place now she is rescued ❤️
Narla absolutely loves going for walks and drives. In a car she will simply lay down and fall asleep. On a walk she’s so excited to see the new world! If a dog comes past, she at first seems hesitant but then she wags her tail eagerly to meet them and she’s the same with people on walks.
Lots of daily exposure in her new home on walks to all kinds of people and dogs is what she needs!
She is your typical puppy who LOVES shoes and all things she’s not meant to have. We’ve noticed she has a different little pitter patter down the hall way when she has something she knows she’s not supposed to and will take it to her bed or near it to chew on the laces, fur on ugg boots and the shoe in general. She will need someone who can give her lots of mental stimulation, walks and games to avoid this behaviour. She will grow up to be a big dog!
Continuing to get Narla used to being alone when the family are at work is important as she can be a bit whiney and vocal if left to be alone.
She is a very active dog, loves running around in the backyard, going for long walks (for a puppy), running after a ball, running after you. On a day she isn’t walked she will want to play and bite more than usual so an active family would be great!
She is such a good girl and is fully toilet trained. She has fantastic manners around the house. An active family with the time to put in lots of exposure and continued socialisation with new dogs and people inside and outside of her home is the most important thing for Narla. Please apply if you have the time to guide her as she grows up ❤️
