About Soy Bean
This gorgeous little kitten has a story to tell!
At only 6 weeks old, she was found and rescued stuck in an overflowing drain. She and her other siblings spent their entire 6 weeks of life stuck in the drain with their mum going in and feeding them regularly but she was unable to get them out. It took a whole team of well-meaning strangers to complete their rescue mission but they all survived and made it out. She was so scared of humans when she first emerged from the drain, however after lots of TLC in her foster home she is now loving human interaction!
She has an amazing spirit and is a true survivor - so curious about the world and what she can do. She loves to play and is super affectionate especially at night - always wanting cuddles, purring away and kneading. Her favourite spot is on top of my clothes rack, she loves a good climbing challenge and she rewards herself by napping at the top of the world! She's always testing herself, climbing on things, climbing up her foster carer's legs to get on to a warm lap and she is super clumsy and silly- always falling off and hanging on for dear life - but always gets back up again ready for another adventure.
Soy Bean is shy to begin with and will be hesitant with new humans that she doesn't know so it is important to be quiet, slow and patient with her while she figures out her new surroundings and gets to know you. It doesn't take too long for her to relax though, she reward your patience with endless lap cuddles and endless playtime for evermore!
She loves cozy little hiding spots, recreating her early kitten days in the drain (lol) - so playing hide and seek is super tricky as she is a pro at finding the most perfect spot. Her favourite spots are under the pillow, under piles of clothes, and under the blanket on the couch - so be careful where you sit! This little kitty is well-loved by her foster family and will be missed, she really is a sweetheart!
She has come a long way since the day of her rescue and has flourished from a scared and unhandled baby kitten into such a silly, playful and curious little girl that everyone loves.
