Bagel is now taking expressions of interest as an ONLY cat! Although we had hoped to be able to reunite Bagel and Brioche, Bagel has made it abundantly clear that while he’s down to clown with small, friendly dogs, he would like to be the only cat in his forever home.
This is what his foster mum had to say!

“As an older gentleman, Bagel's hobbies revolve predominantly around napping and being cuddled like a baby. He will trot all over your lap, knead your flesh with gusto into the perfect pillow shape and if you stop patting him be prepared for him to roll over and glare at you, gently reach out with both paws to pull your hand to his mouth so he can nip you politely with his two solitary fangs for daring to stop.

Bagel was born to be a lap cat and will seek you out to snooze on or near you. He also enjoys being in Zoom calls so prepare your colleagues for cute company. Bagel came into care at approximately 8 years old and has only just been desexed. He has been fostered with a household that has cats and dogs and while he doesn't mind quiet polite dog company, he is not suited to be around other cats at all. He's more into human company and will let you know when he feels like he is not getting enough by crooning some Barry Manilow style jams.

He is still learning how to be a cat and not a stud so play is something that is new and a bit overwhelming. He will need gentle persuading with anything that he is unsure of and he will approach you, not the other way around. Bagel has had a lot of dental work done by Squishies and has the cutest gap-toothed smile and the chubbiest chunkiest cheeks on the block. Bagel is a throw cushion disguised as a cat with the occasional burst of energy that will require a lap nap to recover from. 10/10 good boy.”
