Carrie Bradshaw is a gentle, loving soul, who loves nothing more than to be your shadow and cuddle with you on the couch. She does not discriminate and loves dogs of all ages and sizes provided they have good manners & don't get in her face as she is quite a polite lady. She does not appreciate thunderstorms and vaccuum cleaners and sometimes jumps up when anxious or excited and may unintentionally knock over little humans, which is why children need to be calm and respectful.

Carrie Bradshaw is toilet trained, not destructive and sleeps in her own bed (which she loves) through the night in your room. She has learned basic commands and walking on lead and is improving every day. She loves her walkies but needs to be walked with a harness with some gentle redirection at times, especially when she sees other dogs or items of interest (chips)! She has a sweet temperament but would benefit from some obedience training. She loves her food but waits patiently and is gentle when taking treats. She responds well to positive reinforcement during training. She is fine in the car and at the vets.

She looves attention and although not interested in balls or toys, enjoys her food puzzles and chewy treats. She has acquired the taste of the high life so needs to be provided with healthy enrichment regularly. She needs a patient and calm companion who can teach her that the world is not such a scary place.

Carrie Bradshaw would need to be part of a home where she will be included as part of the family and be an inside dog. She has been left at home for short periods with other dogs and while she is not destructive, she does cry and howl intermittently, indicating some separation anxiety. She follows you everywhere including to the bathroom where she waits by the door. This is why she is looking for human/s who either work from home or can take her to work even post Covid. She has no trouble sleeping through the day under your desk after her big morning walk.

She is currently pleasantly plump and is on a strict healthy diet and exercise regimen to get into shape along with a joint supplement. Her new family to help her on her journey by closely monitoring her diet and providing adequate gentle exercise. She loves her walks twice a day and enjoys sniffing new things. Being a typical Labrador, Carrie Bradshaw does shed a lot of love fibres - so needs daily brushing. If you don't appreciate hair all over the house, she is definitely not the right pooch for you!

After a lifetime of being used and let down by humans, Carrie Bradshaw deserves a wonderful home where she will be your best friend, constant shadow, loved unconditionally and spoiled rotten.
