This sweet little girl is Mindy. At the age of 14, Mindy was left homeless after her owner passed away. She was relinquished to SAFE Avon Valley and is being fostered with me and my little family. Mindy is one of the easiest, cats I have ever met. All she wants to do is snuggle and cuddle. Nail clipping is a breeze. Snip, snip, snuggle, cuddle. All done. No stress; no worries. Need a pill? Yep. Just pop it in.
I would absolutely keep her, but I already have three cats and two dogs, one of whom is getting very anxious about this imposter cuddling his mum!
At the moment, Mindy is in a room on her own. She is gradually interacting with the other pets through the bars in the modified door. She’s cautious of them, but gradually overcoming her shyness. It doesn’t help that my little pup Jigs barks and growls at her from time to time. With a slow introduction, Mindy could possibly live with another cat or dog, but she would be just as happy to have a lap all to herself.
This sweet little girl is looking for her own home, ideally with someone who is retired or home a lot. If you know of anyone who is looking for a little dog or a cat to keep them company, please tell them about Mindy. If they are worried about not being around to see Mindy through to her twilight years, please let them know that arrangements can be made for Mindy to be returned to me. She’d be welcomed back with open arms.
