About Cisco
Cisco is a confident, inquisitive 8 month old pup that loves snuggling next to you on the lounge with her head in your lap.
Her favourite things to do besides chewing sticks are running around the backyard and playing hide and seek in the garden beds and chasing her ball around the grass. She's happy to chill near you during the day on her lounge, or a mat on the floor, and she sleeps in the closed crate in the bedroom all night.
She is a quick learner and food oriented, so training doesn’t take long. Within 10 minutes she had the doggy door mastered and she goes in and out at will, although if her people are inside the house, that is where she prefers to be. She is completely house trained, walks reasonably well on a leash, can sit, down, high 5 and knows inside, outside, come and stay there.
Cisco is great when it comes to socialisation with people - she loves everyone. Big kids, little kids, babies, men, strangers - all good. She’ll just sit and lap up the pats although she can be a little 'mouthy' when she's excited and we are working on 'gentle’. When she sees another dog, playing is the first thing on her mind, and we've been working on her sitting patiently when she sees a dog to kerb her excitement.
Cisco loves water, she loved having a bath and used to go to the beach. She'd make a great beach buddy for an active, outdoorsy person.
Her new family will need to be experienced doggy owners who are committed to her ongoing training & development. Patience and engagement are the keys here so you can keep her focused as she is only a puppy!
Quite an active girl, Cisco will need an active family that will take her out on family adventures and holidays. You will need to be able to meet all her mental and physical stimulation needs so she remains engaged, healthy & happy. She'd also be a great candidate for agility training.
She is too active for a unit or townhouse, she wants to run and explore so a house with a garden would be better. She would do best with a family where someone is home more often than not and as an only dog.
She’d easily cope with kids running around and would welcome the attention she’d get. Cisco is currently walked twice a day for around 45 mins to an hour and she gets play time in the backyard as well.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
