Ulricken Bale is an ex-racer, who has seen an early retirement and is now looking for his forever home. He is a curious boy who absolutely adores going on walks and exploring the new scents of the world. Ulricken Bale enjoys socialising when out on his daily walks and he is happy to relax on his bed or by your side during the day.

He is a has a gentle, placid nature and is looking for a home where he will be included as part of the family. He could live with another dog or in an environment where he has company more often than not.

Greyhounds are notoriously lazy and Ulricken Bale doesn’t stray from this stereotype. He only requires one moderate or two shorter walks a day. Outside of walking he loves to lounge around in the sun or by your side when there is company at home.

Ulricken Bale would suit a home where people are home more often or have another dog to keep him company during the day. He is fine to be left alone during work hours given he has access to a moderate to large yard with high fences. He is perfect for garden lovers as he doesn’t dig holes or destroy the garden bed.

Ulricken Bale is still learning house to become a pet. He wants to be a part of the family and loves to come up for scratches and pats. He walks very well on the lead and enjoys socialising with the other dogs. He is very well-mannered and isn’t fazed by over excited jumpy dogs or children wanting to come and give him a pat. The one thing Ulricken Bale has found frightening is ceiling fans and doesn’t like it when they are spinning. It might be best to avoid at least while he is adjusting to his new environment.

He is very smart and learns very quickly despite not the most food motivated dog. He is a shy eater and may require a closed off space where he feels comfortable eating.
Ulricken Bale also enjoys the beach and isn’t afraid to get his paws wet. He is also fascinated watching other dogs play fetch in the park and is eager to find a home where he may do so too.
