About Tilly
Meet Tilly!
Tilly is a super sweet 3 year old female Catahoula x who loves people! She gets along with most of the dogs she's met here at SMART but can get a little defensive when being threatened by another dog. This big girl travels really well in the car. She is quite strong and does pull on her lead when being walked so will need someone in her life who can handle big dog energy. She does listen to some basic commands such as 'Sit' and would be easy to train further.
Tilly has a beautiful nature and loves cuddles, scratches and to play. She would be better suited to a home with no small children due to her size and ability to knock anyone little down.

Medical notes
Tilly passed all of her medical examination except for her ears. When she was rescued from the pound, she had quite a severe ear infection in both ears and has undergone multiple treatments including flushing, steroids and ear sprays to try and get her infection under control.
When visiting Tillys vet today, she has been passed to go up for adoption as her ears have improved significantly but she will require eat drops twice a week indefinitely and Tillys new owners will need to monitor her ear health.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
