About Miso
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Miso is sure to brighten your days with her elegant looks and gentle personality!
A beautiful chocolate bi-color Ragdoll, Miso is a sensitive soul who takes a bit of time to warm up in new situations - but once she's comfortable, you can look forward to belly scratches and brushing sessions galore! She doesn't like sitting on you or being picked up, but after settling in, she enjoys company (and headbumps!) and the spot beside you on the couch will soon become her favourite place :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Miso is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, preferably with 1-2 experienced cat owners who can provide me with the purrfect balance of space and company. A single person or retired couple would be best! I'm very independent, so if you go out all day for work that won't bother me as I love to sleep.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a true couch potato during the day! In the evenings, with my special humans around me, my cheeky side comes out and I'm usually down for skritches, brushes and a bit of interactive play with my toys.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Unfortunately loud noises and lots of activity scare me, so I won't be well suited to a family home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My experiences with other cats haven't been great as I have been bullied in the past, so I would like to be your one-and-only feline friend, please! I do get anxious easily, so a home without dogs would also be best.
Medical notes
Miso can suffer from anxiety in new situations so will likely need to be on anti-anxiety meds (zyklene) for the first 1-2 months in her new home, plus a feliway diffuser.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
