Nirvana

My name is Nirvana. By definition Nirvana is of Buddhist origin and means a place of perfect peace and happiness, that is exactly what I am looking for. Even though I am not a Great Dane, the wonderful ladies at AdoptADane are here to help me find that place. Could it be with you?

My background isn't the best and Ive moved around a lot, I found myself in a regional pound which was far from Nirvana, it was so scary and I was deemed "unadoptable". I strive every day to prove them wrong.

I am not perfect but I am strong believer that I can find the perfect humans for me. You see, I need an only pet home, which can be tricky. I am ok out and about if I see dogs (as long as they are not reactive to me), however I am not fond of sharing my home with another dog, nor cat, nor pocket pet. I am a very timid girl at first and won't be suited to a home with small kids, but instead a nice quiet home ideally where my humans are home more often than not. I would be the perfect office buddy for someone who worked from home. I can be fine home alone as long as you leave me with a Kong or some enrichment to keep my mind busy.

I am the perfect guard dog, I don't bark unless I am warning you about something or someone in particular, I could be your very own security system! I am not one to be taken to dog parks or off lead areas, but I do enjoy my morning strolls and stretching my legs. As I mentioned I am shy and can take time to warm up to people, in particular, I am very weary of very tall men.

I do require secure 6 foot fencing as in my previous life I was known to escape short fencing. However my foster homes have been so great, I've never even showed interest in roaming however the rescue wants to ensure I remain safe.
