Missy is a very sweet girl who has been a loved pet for the past four years. Unfortunately her owner is moving to a retirement complex next February & is unable to take Missy with her.
We are seeking expressions of interest from those who would like to welcome this gentle lady into their lives. At present Missy is still with her owner, but will need to come into foster care if she does not have a forever home to go to by early in the New Year. If the perfect home is available, she is ready to move now.
Missy is a “natural sitter” – fairly uncommon for a Greyhound. She has also spent 3-4 months living with a visiting adult cat & the two of them co-existed amiably. She has not had exposure to frisky kittens however.
Missy is in excellent health for a middle aged lady. She is up to date with her vaccinations (C7) & had a dental scale & polish only a couple of months ago – her teeth & gums are in great shape.
Having been used to a quiet life for the past few years, Missy is looking for a permanent home where there is human company for much of the time (a retired couple would be ideal). She is happy to be an only dog, but may also suit a home with another mature pet. Missy will come to her new home with her own bedding etc.
AVAILABLE ONLY TO A HOME WITH ACCESS TO A YARD OR COURTYARD
