Alfie

Alfie is a very handsome 3 year old who came to the RSPCA as a friendly stray and although he was microchipped and desexed, nobody came forward to collect him. Alfie is a gorgeous, smoochy boy with a whole lot of love to give and lots of purrs to share - one of his favourite past-times is rolling around on the ground and bumping the knees of his human friends for more pats! He is a very food motivated boy and would benefit from some food enrichment such as food puzzles and slow feeders, this will help stimulate his mind and help him not gobble all of his food in the one go! Alfie can get a little over stimulated during play and grooming time, so we would strongly encourage his new owner to play with Alfie using wand-style toys or interactive toys to help him learn that human hands aren't the aim of the game! Alfie is in wonderful condition and loves the company of people, it is clear he was a family pet at one stage though we can't tell you much about his previous home life however, during his time at the shelter we have found that isn't a huge fan of other cats hanging about his space and doesn't seem to keen on young children - so a home with children over 12 years and where he can be the only cat would suit him very well!
