About Spencer
Spencer our Staghound x Whippet (DOB 16/8/2019) is now ready to find a loving and stimulating home.
Spencer is a gentle loving soul who is very affectionate and loves the company of humans and other dogs. He loves to play with toys and is working on his fetching skills.
Spencer is great with kids and has been exposed to chickens but not left alone and does show interest in pocket pets. He is not suitable to be housed with cats or pocket pets.
Spencer would be great company for someone home alot or family home with children and he would probably love another dog as a play mate. Due to his breed mix and agility Spencer will need secure fencing.
Unfortunately Spencer came into us with Mange so he still has patches of hair loss, but the hair is growing back. Spencer has been treated for the mange.
Spencer goes to his new home flea, worm and mange treated, Vaccinated, desexed and microchiiped. His adoption fee is $600.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
