About Bo ~ 9mo Cattle Dog (On Trial 7/12/21)
Meet Bo, a Red Cattle Dog who has just turned 9 months old. Bo is extremely affectionate
and is a big fan of cuddles and belly rubs. He loves people of all ages and greets everyone
with a smile and a tail wag.
Bo would really love a friend to run around with and wrestle, but also cuddle up for a rest
when needed. He gets along well with other dogs but has a bit of fun trying to round them
up. Bo would be fine as an only dog if he had someone at home to spend his time with. He is okay to leave on his own as long as he has sufficient tennis balls and bones to keep him
occupied. He would love someone who would be able to take him on walks or for a swim
anytime as he loves sniffing and chasing waves.
Bo is not reactive on walks and is very calm on a lead and is primarily an outside dog who sleeps inside. Even though Bo sleeps inside, he is quite happy napping in the sun and playing outside through the day.
One of Bo’s favourite past times is saying hello to anyone that walks past and chasing tennis balls. He is also very smart and enjoys learning new tricks, so far he has mastered sit, stay, lay down, shake and come, Bo’s recall to his name is good also. He sometimes forgets his size and thinks he is a lap dog as he loves cuddles and spending time with his humans.
Bo’s ideal home would have a decent sized yard and good fences as he likes to try his best to meet everyone. He will require 5-6ft colourbond or similar fencing with no holes or gaps. He will not suit rural fencing.
