About Joy
Joy is a little dog with a BIG personality. she can be shy and coy and pretends she doesn't understand and then she will explode into a bundle of fun and does exactly as she is told.
Joy is a miniature version of a Australian kelpie and has a very unusual Grey/Liver colouring and despite how she looks in her photos size wise she is only very tiny dog for her breed. Her EARS are amazing! Being about 10 months of age Joy is almost fully grown so whilst not tiny she is definitely small for her type of breed.
Joy has improved so much since she has been in care - from not even being able to walk on a lead - to understanding that she is not going to be hurt or surprised and her confidence is gaining. She just need that home who understand the need for rules and boundaries where she will be offered consistency to bring out the best in this pint sized working breed dog.
Joy will need a home where she can be provided with lots of exercise, mental stimulation and company. She will enjoy being in an active home. She requires ongoing socialization skills and recall skills - so at THIS stage not a dog where you should consider to let her off lead at the dog park until you have developed that relationship with her - but she definitely has potential!
if you think you have the time to put into a dog like Joy - email us for a time to meet her!
