✅ Children who are old enough to manage a pup who may think that their ankles are chew toys
✅ A friendly resident dog role-model would be ideal
Adira needs a home who is willing to show her the ropes .. Rescued from the pound, came in to care a very skinny and leggy pup.
She has a wonderful nature, very playful, very cuddly, very very very good at fetch, loves to run and wrestle, quick learner , can sit, waits (impatiently) for her food, can walk on lead - however loooooves to intermittently roll on lush green grass without warning.
A lovely girl who with some patience and training will be the ultimate gal pal!
She initially showed food aggression toward her foster brothers but this is slowly subsiding as she realises she will be getting regular meals...
She will need further toilet training - (like any pup) but she is almost there... learning toileting is better outside than in...
She is fearful on walks when unknown dogs approach and will bark however will settle and looks to you for reassurance that all is well
She is a very clever girl, already responds to her name, learning manners when it comes to food, will sit and wait for her turn when the treats are being handed out.
Her ideal home is one that will continue with the training and more., she will be a big girl so a home that has the space to cater for the tallest dog breed there is, so a house with a yard is a must.
She is very active and loves to fetch so she needs an active inclusive home, fur siblings ideal as she loves to play... but one that will be tolerant of a pup and a dominant one at that.
Young people ok - but beware of the puppy nipping,,,
Untested with cats
