About Luna
If you are interested in Luna or any of our Greyhounds then please fill in our adoption form; https://www.hounds-in-homes.com/adoptionform
Luna is a 2 year old small Greyhound weighing only around 24kg, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in personality.
Arriving into care Luna was extremely timid and wary of people, over the last few weeks her confidence has grown. Although still on the nervous side, she continues to improve every day. We think there’s still a lot more to come for this girl as she learns to trust her humans.
She loves to play with her staffy foster brother including tug of war and joint zoomies! When they’re not playing, Luna likes to be close to him most of the time, they also spend a lot of time roaching together in various locations throughout the house.
Walkies are a definite favourite. She walks very well on the lead but can be very excitable for the first 5 minutes or so. She has shown no aggression towards other dogs when out.
Luna is a very chilled girl most of the time, but she definitely has a cheeky side. She loves to jump into bed with her humans in the morning to say hello and for a few cuddles and scratches. Expect nose boops and potentially waking up to a fluffy little spoon.
Overall Luna is just an all round gorgeous girl, she is a big puppy who is learning to love her humans. She may need some patience for her personality to completely shine through.
Preference for Luna would be in a home with another medium/large sized dog. She would be fine in an apartment with regular walks.
