About Uno
** DUE TO TESTING POSSITIVE TO E.CANIS, UNO IS ONLY AVALABLE FOR ADOPTION IN THE KIMBERLEY REGION**
Hello everyone I am Uno. I want to tell you about myself but I don’t know where to start. So, maybe I’ll just begin by telling you what my foster Mum thinks about me. She says I’m a ‘wonderful soul’ who has had a bit of a hard start in life. The thing is, I’ve never really had a family who welcomes me and accepts me, so I’ve been left on the sidelines most of my life. That’s been so hard for me because all I really want is to hang out with my people and be a real best friend. I love my foster Mum but I know I can’t stay here for very long so my only Christmas wish is to find a family of my own.
When I first came here, I was quite timid and unsure, but I’m now much more confident. There are lots of things I love to do that I didn’t know about before…I LOVE playing with my foster brother and sister, I LOVE following my foster Mum around and relaxing with her, and I also really really LOVE cow hooves! You see, I very much enjoy chewing and my foster Mum says I should chew on the cow hooves rather than anything else around the house (like furniture!) and that’s OK with me because they’re so yummy. I’m getting really good at throwing them around for myself to chase too!
What else do you want to know? Ummm… I’m very quiet apparently and don’t really bark ever. I’m good at listening to my humans and my recall is great. At the moment, I live with chickens and chicks - they roam around the property with me. I have had the occasional thought that I might chase them, but then my foster Mum tells me not to and because I like doing what she says, I stop.
I might need a bit more training on the lead (I’m not really used to it to be honest), and I am a little bit shy of water but I’m very trainable and if you’re happy to teach and be patient with me whilst I learn I’ll get the hang of most things.
Do you think you could be my family? If so, please get in touch with SAFE today.
